Job Description
The Environmental Educator (PT) will lead educational programming and provide operational support for the department, engaging students and adults in hands-on learning experiences and developing curriculum and exhibits.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in a science or education related field
- Two or more years of experience in an educational institution
- Previous experience and passion for working with children and animals
- Current knowledge of wildlife conservation, scientific research and environmental issues
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
