Job Description
Georgia Legal Services is seeking a Domestic Violence Staff Attorney to work in the Dalton Regional office in Northeast Georgia. The role provides holistic legal representation in civil matters to victims of domestic violence, including cases in administrative, state, and federal forums. The firm focuses on providing equal access to justice for low-income Georgians and fighting for justice where it is most needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited law school
- Admission to the Georgia Bar, or willingness to sit for the next exam
- Reliable vehicle and driver’s license
- Demonstrated interest or experience working with low income clients
- Excellent oral advocacy, research and writing skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with diverse populations
