Job Description
GeoSpectrum is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will perform structural analysis, simulations, and testing to ensure compliance with performance, safety, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Participate in the design, development and testing of winch and cable handling products and acoustic systems
- Participate in formal program and engineering design reviews
- Identify and analyze unique technical challenges and develop innovative solutions
- Complete structural analysis for static and dynamic load conditions using FEA tools and classical analysis
- Plan and conduct simulations and testing to ensure design meets performance, safety, and quality standards
- Manage tasks to meet project scope, timelines and budgets
- Identify, mitigate, and manage technical risks and report them to technical leads and management
- Work in multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with others to achieve project goals
- Maintain detailed documentation of designs, tests and modifications
- Compile, present, and maintain verification evidence for customer acceptance events
