Job Description
Gerdau is seeking an experienced Electrician to perform a variety of tasks related to the installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical equipment, with a focus on electrical and electronic systems, communication systems, and motor controls.
Requirements
- Analyzes circuits, wiring diagrams, and drawings
- Plans work procedures and selects logical approaches to troubleshoot and repair problems
- Assembles, inspects, adjusts, repairs, or replaces faulty parts and wiring
- Inspects, dismantles, services, reassembles, tests, and adjusts equipment
- Starts up and shuts down plant equipment
- Makes mechanical and electrical repairs as required
- Performs all other plant electrical maintenance as required
