Job Description
Gerdau is hiring a Logistics Operator for its Gerdau Commercial in Governador Valadares - MG. The Logistics Operator will support and be supported by others in all yard activities, as well as ensure the correct organization of the stock and compliance with the received instructions.
Requirements
- Follow the Integrated Health and Safety, Environment, and Quality Policy
- Support colleagues directly in material movement
- Separate and inspect materials
- Ensure the correct organization of the stock and compliance with the received instructions
- Ensure the organization and conservation of the workplace according to the 5S standards
- Follow operational controls related to environmental aspects and legislation applicable to their work area
- Check the received and shipped materials, according to operational standards, and report any deviations to the team leader
- Ensure the conservation and maintenance of equipment through checklists
- Attend to all internal and external customers of the unit with a spirit of service
- Support in physical inventory counts according to the unit's schedule
