Job Description
Join a dynamic team committed to sustainability and innovation in the scrap metals industry as a Scrap Buyer II. This role involves the procurement of retail scrap suitable for steelmaking, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers, and coordinating activities with transportation and accounting personnel.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience in buying or receiving scrap or similar work.
- Knowledge of raw material sources and grades.
- Familiarity with transportation logistics and scrap yard operations.
- Strong negotiation, communication, math, and problem-solving skills.
