Job Description
Gerdau empowers its people to grow, thrive, and make a difference. This is a summer student position with a full-time schedule, starting in early May 2026 through to the end of August 2026. The labourer will assist in scrap inspection, sortation, and general yard maintenance as directed, following Gerdau's safety standards and promoting its core values.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older and enrolled in a post-secondary institution
- Ability to learn and have a strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills to ensure safety among co-workers, truck drivers, peddlers, and contractors
