Materialspecialist - Biokompabilitet/analytisk kemi

We are looking for a Materials Specialist with a focus on biocompatibility and analytical chemistry for our Material Safety team. As a Materials Specialist, you will contribute insights and analyses that pave the way for successful product launches and improvements to existing products. Your work will ensure that Getinge's products meet our high standards for quality, efficiency, and safety.

Requirements

• Master's degree in engineering, MSc or PhD in chemical engineering, biotechnology, polymer chemistry, analytical chemistry, toxicology, surface chemistry, organic chemistry, or similar.
• Knowledge and experience of biocompatibility assessments of medical devices or toxicology and risk assessments of chemical substances.
• Knowledge in analytical chemistry, chemical characterization methods, and their limitations (GC-MS, FTIR, SEM-EDS, ICP, XRD).
• Knowledge of standards: EU MDR, ISO 10993, ISO 18562, ISO 21726.
• Work experience in design and development of medical devices.
• Experience of working in a FDA-regulated environment.
• Ability to express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
