Mechanical Engineer

Frontier Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in production planning and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of CNC machining, welding, and fabrication processes, along with a solid understanding of quality, inventory, and shipping functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred with a focus in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including welding, machining, and folding
• Ability to read and understand blueprints in standard and metric formats
• Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and make informed decisions related to production scheduling, inventory, and resource allocation
• Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems and analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, lead times, and workflow constraints
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Excellent communication, organizational and cross functional collaboration skills
• Working knowledge of warehouse safety regulations
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Ability to meet physical job requirements, including the ability to lift 50 pounds, work in variable temperature conditions, and stand for extended periods of time
