Job Description
GHD is seeking candidates or candidates for the profession of engineer (CPI) to join its geotechnics team in Montreal. The successful candidate will contribute to various mandates in geotechnics, including geological investigations, geostructural design, seismic geotechnics, and more.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, or geological engineering
- Master's degree in geotechnics or related field (asset)
- Strong interest in geotechnical and geostructural design, analysis, and modeling
- Proficiency in specialized software (e.g.: Plaxis, Flac/UDEC/3DEC, MIDAS, GeoStudio, Rocscience, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) – an asset
- Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec or in the process of becoming one
- Excellent communication skills in French, both written and oral
- Hold a valid ASP Construction card
- Possess a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (asset)
- Demonstrate organizational ability, autonomy, and initiative
- Team spirit, technical rigor, and ability to evolve in a multidisciplinary environment
