We're looking for a motivated and experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager to join our team in Bluffton/Hilton Head, South Carolina. As a CMT Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering both field and office activities, ensuring construction materials testing services are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-year or 4-year Engineering degree is not required, but a plus
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction materials testing and IBC Chapter 17 Special Inspections
- Effective time-management, communication, planning, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in preparing reports and documentation
- Clean driving record and capable of being insured for driving company vehicle
- Able and willing to work in variable outside conditions, including extreme heat or cold
- Reliability – must be able to arrive at designated project sites prior to scheduled times.
- Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to take initiative, work independently and coordinate efforts with multi-discipline teams
- Excellent attention to detail and can produce high quality work under short time constraints
