Job Description
GHD is seeking an experienced technical director for mining drainage in Quebec. This role involves leading technical teams on projects, planning, design, construction, and knowledge sharing. The position focuses on sustainable solutions for water, energy, and urbanization needs, and offers opportunities for growth and development within a dynamic team. The technical director will work on geological studies, engineering designs, technical troubleshooting, and data management.
Requirements
- University degree in civil or geotechnics
- Master's degree in geotechnical engineering (preferred)
- Geotechnical permit and Engineering Order (OIQ) membership
- Significant experience in mining drainage and waste engineering (more than 15 years)
- Fluency in English and French
- Knowledge of CDA/ANCOLD, GISTM, local regulations
- Project Management experience
