Job Description
We're looking for an Environmental Field Technician to join our team in Borger, TX. This is a hands-on field position requiring travel and occasional overnight work. You'll work on a diverse range of projects, including inspection, maintenance, monitoring, and sampling of environmental groundwater wells.
Requirements
- Previous three years of environmental media sampling field experience
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER is a plus
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to perform field work in a refinery environment (i.e., wear respirator)
- Strong mechanical, electrical and computer aptitude
- Ability to work extended hours and travel out of town
- Physically capable of working in non-ideal conditions, such as hot/cold temperatures, wet weather, outside, and around loud equipment and traversing rough terrains
- Ability to be a self-starter, flexible, team player, willing and able to work on a wide variety of tasks with minimal supervision in a drug-free workplace
- Ability to analyze field readings, data, and operating parameters to optimize system operations
