Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Civil Engineer | Project Manager to join our Civil & Transport Infrastructure team in Gladstone, Mackay or Cairns. You will manage the design and documentation on a variety of civil and transport infrastructure projects and provide leadership and guidance in the delivery of projects from concept stage through to construction.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
- Experience in establishing client relationships and winning work
- Excellent project management skills and ability and willingness to mentor junior engineers
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) & Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) (Preferred)
- Knowledge of flood modelling, geotechnical analysis, pavement design and an ability to integrate into civil and transport design preferred
- Strong communication skills both oral and written (including report writing)
- Demonstrated professional judgement and commercial acumen, including identifying, assessing, evaluating, and solving problems to brief and budget
- Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and the delivery of projects, from small projects to medium sized projects
- Experience and a sound understanding of current civil engineering technologies, including design, modelling, and construction
