Job Description
GHD is seeking a motivated Senior Planner to join their team in Auckland, New Zealand. The role focuses on providing technical leadership, support, and tools for clients, including project delivery, client relationships, and team development. The Planner will work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders to meet client needs and contribute to the companyâs sustainability goals.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs Degree with 8+ yearsâ experience in environmental planning
- Full Membership of the NZPI (or working towards this)
- Competent knowledge of the New Zealand planning system and legislation
- Proven technical planning record in regional council, local council, or private sector planning
- Project management experience with financial, budgeting, and programming skills
- Established client relationships and networks
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to contributing to positive impact
