Job Description
GHD is seeking a Systems Engineering and Safety Assurance Director to join their Rail and Transit practice. This role will focus on promoting Systems Engineering principles, managing safety activities, and advising on transportation projects. The position is hybrid, offering in-office collaboration and flexibility.
Requirements
- Promote the adoption of Systems Engineering Principles
- Manage System Assurance activities on multi-disciplinary transport engineering projects
- Provide advice and guidance to transportation projects
- Contribute to the Safety justification of transportation projects
- Provide advice and guidance to GHD project teams
- Lead design teams through Safety Hazard Analysis
- Facilitate Qualitative and Quantitative Safety Risk Assessments
- Mentoring engineers/graduates/interns
- Develop and implement business practices
