Job Description
GHD is seeking an Intermediate Tunnel Engineer to join their Mississauga, Ontario or Markham, Ontario team. This role involves assisting with large diameter tunnel projects for various clients, including local infrastructure, municipalities, and research institutions. The position offers a hybrid work model with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and data-driven decision making. It also provides opportunity for professional development.
Requirements
- Capability in working within tunnel design or construction teams
- Experience designing large diameter tunnels (6m +)
- Ability to design deep shaft & shoring structures
- Experience in the design of tunnels in soft ground and transit underground support of structure
- Confident with analytical and numerical analysis methods
- Experience in calculating tunnel induce settlement
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License (G)
