Heavy Equipment Operator

The successful candidate will join our team at the gravel pit, operating excavators and loaders to support material processing, truck loading, and overall site efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their equipment, and values being part of a positive, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment, including excavators and loaders
• Process concrete using a pulverizer, separating steel from aggregate materials
• Load trucks with various materials in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform general labour duties as required to support site operations
• Assist with routine preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, crushing, and screening equipment
• Complete daily equipment checks, including fueling and greasing as required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work safely in and around heavy equipment, tools, and active job sites
• Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
