Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance and accounting team. The role involves reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing financial statements, and supporting audits. The firm is a growing CPA firm committed to delivering exceptional financial, tax, and advisory services.
Requirements
- Perform and review general ledger account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of postings.
- Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies proactively.
- Clean up and maintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring proper classification of transactions.
- Prepare and review journal entries with a strong understanding of debits and credits.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with other departments and clients to ensure accurate and complete financial data.
- Utilize Great Plains to manage and report on financial transactions
