Job Description
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join a growing and stable organization in the construction industry. This role offers strong mentorship, exposure to multiple areas of accounting, and a clear path for career growth.
Requirements
- Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close
- Support financial reporting and variance analysis
- Work closely with AP and AR teams
- Assist with revenue recognition and WIP (work-in-progress) schedules
- Support job cost accounting and project tracking
- Participate in audits (financial, tax, insurance)
- Assist with sales tax and property tax filings
- Maintain and improve internal controls and processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting and operations teams
