Job Description
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join a dynamic commercial real estate investment and management company in Sherman Oaks. The role involves all aspects of day-to-day accounting and finance functions, including preparing financial reports, managing accounting controls, and assisting with financial statement reviews and tax preparation.
Requirements
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management
- Maintain general ledger and internal accounting controls
- Handle inter-company billings for maintenance, management fees, and special projects
- Manage mortgage loans and lender reporting
- Maintain fixed asset depreciation and amortization schedules
- Reconcile and validate balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Prepare annual CAM reconciliations and estimates
- Assist with financial statement reviews and tax return preparation
