Maintenance - Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our multi-craft maintenance department at our Franklin, KY plant. The successful candidate will work safely and smartly, follow procedures and safety protocols, and perform preventative and predictive maintenance and repairs to all equipment.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in automation, controls, engineering, or equivalent experience
• Min. 2 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment or foundry industry or maintenance experience within an aluminum or hot metal industry
• Excellent understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, combustion, electrical and mechanical maintenance
• Experience maintaining cranes and performing crane inspections
• Strong math, reading, and blueprint reading skills
• Solid understanding of PLCs as well as PM software utilization
• Excellent critical thinking skills, essential to fixing production equipment and manufacturing system issues
• Physical endurance and the ability to manage several urgent tasks at once
• Reliable and stable work attendance
• Basic PC understanding preferred and an ability to learn Windows/web-based programs
• Capable of safely rigging and moving some heavy equipment components
• Hands on experience using preventative maintenance system software
• A team player capable of working with minimal supervision
• Effective communication skills with operators, leaders, and vendors/partners
• OSHA/KYOSH helpful
