Job Description
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Applied Technologies department. Your tasks will include problem analysis, PoC and MVP development, stakeholder collaboration, ML platform implementation, vendor collaboration, and mentoring.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field
- Several years of practical experience in Machine Learning or Data Science
- Comprehensive knowledge of software development and Python
- Excellent knowledge of Machine Learning and common Python frameworks (e.g. pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, tensorflow)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and RedHat OpenShift is desirable
- Safe handling of databases, as well as knowledge of Databricks and Spark is desirable
- Knowledge of containerization and model serving in Kubernetes environments is desirable
- Experience with hybrid/on-premise setups is desirable
- Experience in collaborating with external providers and service providers is desirable
- Excellent German and English skills
