Machine Operator

The Machine Operator processes jobs daily which involves the production of plastics, follows a detailed schedule for jobs to be personalized in a pre-determined time frame, and for the quality check of all plastic cards. The role requires strong verbal, written communication and organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and basic mathematical skills.

Requirements

• Set-up machine to change over from job to job as per customer requirement
• Startup/Shut down and load daily files from the G&D network server to the machine
• Work on machines to produce high quality products in a timely manner with least scrap and maximum productivity
• Record the machine meter reads prior to startup and at the end of shift
• Change supplies as required
• Record Document Control Number (DCN) checks
• Accuracy for all quality checks and to ensure conformance to company standards
