Job Description
As a Manufacturing Hardware Test Engineer at Gigamon, you will develop and sustain hardware test solutions for our network visibility and security products. You will support and maintain automated test programs in Visual Basic, Perl, and Python to ensure robust coverage, repeatability, and efficient factory execution.
Requirements
- Develop and maintain manufacturing test solutions for Gigamon hardware platforms, from board-level to system-level failure analysis
- Support automated test sequences and utilities using Visual Basic, Perl, and Python to test chassis based and fixed integrated units under test
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting down to the component level, using schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and lab equipment to isolate root cause on high-speed digital, power, and mixed-signal circuits
- Document test plans, procedures, and best practices; train factory engineering and technicians to ensure consistent execution
- Support Warehouse conversion in both CST and CET timezones
