Job Description
Camp Lakota Equestrian Supervisor oversees equestrian program activities and events, designing and delivering safe and fun experiences for campers. The position supervises activity specialists and works in partnership with the Wrangler Supervisor to plan a robust equestrian program.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Current certification in horseback riding or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge of horse care, riding instruction, and equestrian safety protocols
- Experience in supervising staff in an equestrian setting
- Must possess and maintain a valid CPR/First Aid Certification throughout the position’s employment dates
- Must submit a basic health history form as set by the American Camping Association
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds periodically
- Must possess endurance including prolonged standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching
