Job description
As a Senior Software Engineer on this team, you'll build experiences that bring the full power of GitHub into chat. You'll help developers interact with AI-powered features, manage their work, and collaborate with agents and teammates without leaving the conversation. You'll tackle hard problems at the intersection of AI, developer experience, security, and massive scale.
You'll work on Chat apps and deliver customer value with everything you do. This includes building experiences that millions of people love and use every day, having a real impact, taking on ownership of GitHub.com, and contributing to and improving the code base from day one.
This is a small, motivated team with a broad mandate. You'll have outsized impact — shaping not just the product but the technical direction, the architecture, and how we work. We're looking for someone who is energized by ambiguity and eager to jump in.
