Maintenance - 3rd Shift Electrician - Machinery

GKN Aerospace is seeking a 3rd Shift Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing/production facility. As a Production Electrician, you will work closely with engineers, maintenance teams, and production staff to troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, and implement upgrades to electrical systems.

Requirements

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in manufacturing/production facility
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform corrective actions
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams on system upgrades
• Document maintenance activities and repair work
• Respond to emergency breakdowns
• Test electrical systems and components for functionality
• Assist in the installation of new machinery and automation systems
• Appropriately apply Federal, State and Local governmental codes.
• Gather data, identify and document requirements for facilities projects.
• Maintain, document and verify site utility locations, asset installations, property boundaries and site characteristics.
• Distribute information consistent with company policies and recognized industry standards.
