Job Description
GKN Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Tooling to join their Systems & Industrialization department in Papendrecht, NL. The role focuses on tooling delivery for landing gear components to well-known helicopter and aircraft manufacturers like Apache, NH90, and Bombardier. This position involves collaboration with various engineering teams, ensuring quality, precision, and process improvement throughout the tooling lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in tool design for complex parts
- Experience with CATIA V5 is preferred
- Knowledge of material properties, surface treatment, and manufacturing methods
- Full comprehension of GD&T and ISO/ASME standards
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
