Job Description
GKN Aerospace is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their team at their Luton site. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various value streams within current programmes, developing new and existing manufacturing processes. The role will involve leading structured improvement activities, providing MRB support, and communicating effectively at all levels within the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum HND qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering/Aerospace
- Demonstrable Manufacturing Engineering experience gained from ideally the Aerospace, Automotive, or Yellow Goods industry
- 6Sigma Greenbelt qualification
- Experience in APQP standards, root cause analysis, and practical problem-solving techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organization and be flexible in approach
