Supplier Quality Engineer

GKN Aerospace is hiring a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead and coordinate supplier qualification activities, including First Article Inspection and Production Part Approval Process, to ensure timely delivery of fully qualified products. The role requires monitoring supplier quality performance, conducting performance reviews, and initiating corrective and preventive actions. The position serves as the primary quality liaison between the organization and suppliers, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborates closely with internal engineering and manufacturing teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Engineering (e.g., Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related fields)
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing engineering or production environments
• 1+ year of experience with aerospace quality requirements, including AS9100 and NADCAP
• 1+ year of experience in root cause analysis, 8D methodology, and continuous improvement practices
• U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance
