Supplier Quality Engineer

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation, supplier qualification, and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality and Aerospace, with a broad knowledge of a general technical field such as electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.

Requirements

• Perform supplier audits and analyze supplier processes and products
• Conduct root cause analysis for issues with parts and drive corrective actions
• Reject or do a part stoppage if parts arrive with defects
• Select suppliers through qualification processes
• Own supplier results and drive improvements using supplier scorecards
• Own supplier audits and ensure compliance with ISO/AS9100 quality standards and contractual requirements
