Job Description
Glacial Ridge Ambulance is seeking paramedics to provide high-quality care and transportation to ill and injured patients. Paramedics must demonstrate clinical competency and compassion in providing for the physical and emotional needs of patients.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have at least a high school diploma
- Current National Registry certification is encouraged
- Current MN certification
- Current certifications in Healthcare Provider CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) and Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS) or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)
- Current, non-suspended or revoked, MN driver's license and have an insurable driving record
- Must have proof of training in Emergency Vehicle Operations (EVOC)
- Must be physically and mentally able to safely perform the responsibilities and duties of the position
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds or more with assistance
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
