Job Description
Glacier Fish Company, a leading frozen-at-sea groundfish producer, is seeking resilient and hardworking Deckhands for their F/T Alaska Ocean and F/T Northern Glacier vessels operating in the Bering Sea and off the coast of Washington and Oregon. The position offers permanent, full-time employment with a rotating year-round schedule. Successful candidates will possess prior commercial fishing vessel deckhand experience and be prepared for long, labor-intensive hours in challenging conditions.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a deckhand on a commercial fishing vessel
- Highly skilled in deck operations, including splicing, net repair, and proficiently setting and hauling gear
- Strong English comprehension to read and interpret policies and procedures
- Adaptable in managing and troubleshooting competing priorities
