Blender Operator - 1st Shift - Dump Room

Glanbia is a global nutrition company seeking a Blender Operator for its Downers Grove, Illinois location. The successful candidate will be responsible for manually lifting and dumping 50lb bags of ingredients into IBCs, adjusting machines, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Operate production/cleaning equipment
• Maneuver up to 55lbs of materials
• Complete daily production logs and reports
• Verify product integrity during manufacturing
• Perform equipment or product changeovers
• Ensure work areas are clean and free of debris
• Communicate with production supervisor or plant manager
• Provide on-the-job training for employees
• Ensure quality control checks are completed and documented
• Perform safety inspections and be aware of all safety points on machines
• Trouble-shoot defects and own the quality of products
• Understand differences in powders and perform allergen and flavor cleans
• Communicate with leadership regarding safety and quality issues
• Fill out documentation correctly and clearly
• Assist in maintaining/promoting Safety Culture
