Job Description
Glanbia is seeking a Packaging Sustainability Specialist to support packaging sustainability initiatives within its Performance Nutrition division. This role involves administrative and technical support, regulatory compliance, portfolio management, and cross-functional collaboration, focusing on ensuring the safety and sustainability of Glanbia's brands and products. The position offers autonomy and opportunities for growth within a dynamic team.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and document management skills
- Knowledge of disposal schemes (e.g. OPRL, RecyClass)
- Understanding of packaging structures, materials and recyclability assessment methodologies
- Familiarity with digital sustainability tools and databases
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and SharePoint
- Effective communication and collaboration across departments
