Job Description
Behavioral Health Therapist (Substance Use Disorder) job opportunity at GLBHC. Provides assessment, diagnosis, and interventions for behavioral health and/or substance use needs. Requires Master's degree in social work or counseling and licensure as a Licensed or Limited Licensed Master’s Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work or counseling from an accredited graduate school
- Licensed as a Licensed or Limited Licensed Master’s Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals (MCBAP) certification preferred
- Previous substance abuse experience preferred
- Skilled in written and oral communication
- Basic computer skills and ability to work in an electronic medical record
- Able to prioritize activities on a short and long-term basis and handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
