Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Surveyor with experience in underground coal mining to support our operations at Ulan West, a modern, high-production underground longwall coal mine in the Western Coalfields of NSW. As a Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate survey data and technical support to optimise mining activities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Eligibility to complete Registration as an Unrestricted Mining Surveyor
- Working knowledge of underground mining survey processes and operations
- Proactive and self-motivated attitude
- Demonstrated ability to apply risk management principles to ensure safe work practices
- High-level computer competency, sound AutoCad and Microsoft Office skills
- Proficiency in using Leica GPS and total stations desirable
- Remote pilot licence with AROC certification and experience with multi-rotor DJI RPA/UAV surveys desirable
- Strong Communication skills
- Highly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills
