Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Role Overview

GALT Aerospace seeks a uniquely qualified full-time, hourly, Electro-Assembler responsible for cabling, assembling, testing, and troubleshooting products and devices that combine both electrical and mechanical components.

What You Will Do

Assembly, technical interpretation, troubleshooting and repair, wiring and cabling, soldering, quality control, documentation, safety and standard adherence, collaboration, and operating equipment.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret complex technical documents, blueprints, and schematics
• IPC J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 certificate
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often in very small tight spaces
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification is preferred
• 2-3 years minimum as an assembler
• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance
