Job Description
The Elementary School Assistant Principal is responsible for the day-to-day management of teaching, learning, and maintaining an overall school culture and climate in line with the school’s mission and vision.
Requirements
- A M.A., Ed.M, or Master’s degree in education from an accredited college or university is a must
- NYS SBL Certification preferred
- Experienced as a full-time effective, impactful classroom teacher with a minimum of five years and have at least two years of previous experience in leadership
- Demonstrated success working in a high-performing, urban school setting preferred
