Job Description
The Electrical Estimator will play a crucial role in project planning and execution phase, focusing on cost estimation, bid proposal preparation, and the initial stages of project management for electrical components of infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 0 - 3 years of exposure to estimation.
- Exposure to estimation software (e.g., Agtek Gradework, Highway, Underground and Materials, AutoCAD, HCSS HeavyBid, and/or Bid2Win, Bluebeam Revu)
- Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- An understanding of construction processes, materials, and the latest industry standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Capable of working in a team environment and handling client interactions professionally.
- Able to manage multiple bids and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel within local areas.
- Recent DOT estimating experience.
