Global Industrial seeks a Senior Vice President, Operations to oversee the Distribution Center Network, Operational Excellence, Facilities, Maintenance, Purchasing and Inventory Control, Customer Service, and Transportation, with a focus on increasing profitability, productivity, and efficiency while providing world-class service to customers.

Requirements

• Strategically plan and execute to increase profitability, productivity, and efficiency
• Oversee team that manages multiple distribution centers across the United States and Canada
• Form a cohesive team to manage inventory and achieve high service levels
• Manage vendors and negotiate with vendors that provide services to help achieve goals
• Oversee negotiation and management of inbound and outbound small parcel, truck and ocean freight vendors
• Manage order flow and after-sales support
• Interact with all departments to understand and document business requirements
• Project-manage high potential initiatives by organizing teams and providing oversight to hit benchmarks
