Staff Accountant

Global Tax Management is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their internal Shared Services Accounting and Finance team. The role is responsible for executing core accounting functions, including processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, preparing monthly financial statements, and supporting various ad hoc accounting and finance projects.

Requirements

• Perform day-to-day Accounts Payable processing
• Execute Accounts Receivable functions
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Support month-end close activities
• Reconcile bank accounts monthly and verify deposits
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, cash disbursement accounts, payroll, and customer accounts
• Assist with monthly billing and invoicing processes
• Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with accepted accounting principles
• Support internal reporting and documentation requirements
• Assist with other ad hoc accounting and finance projects and operational initiatives as needed
