Job Description
The Quantum Ion Trap Integration (Sr. Section Manager) role is a technical and people leadership position within the GF Labs / Technology Development organization. This role leads a team of engineers focused on integrating the semiconductor building blocks required for scalable ion-trap-based quantum computing platforms.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor process or integration engineering
- Experience in semiconductor process integration, including BEOL, photonics integration, or advanced packaging
- Familiarity with yield learning, DOE methodologies, and semiconductor metrology techniques
- Experience working in or supporting high-volume manufacturing or advanced development environments
- Exposure to quantum computing hardware, ion trapping technologies, or cryogenic / vacuum systems
