The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic client relationships, and expanding the company’s footprint across East and West United States.
Requirements
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Serve as the primary driver of new revenue growth, with a strong emphasis on cultivating new business.
- Conduct in-person client meetings, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service terms to maximize profitability while meeting customer needs.
- Meet or exceed established sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals.
- Support and advise GLS regional sales teams on international opportunities, acting as a subject matter expert, advocate, and strategic partner.
- Manage account implementation and ongoing servicing.
- Ensure seamless handoffs from sales to implementation while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the company professionally at trade shows, industry events, and international meetings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status within CRM systems (Salesforce).
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, import/export requirements, and company policies.
