The Risk Management Specialist will facilitate and implement assistance and empowerment processes to regional instances, local governments, and community organizations in Preparation and Response. The position will be responsible for joint planning, supporting the project team, adopting and promoting the GOAL approach, developing action plans, and integrating and strengthening response capacities.
Requirements
- Professionals in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Social Sciences or related careers
- Minimum experience of 3 years of experience in development work and/or in humanitarian work
- Ability to effectively and proactively coordinate sectorial tables / groups
- Experience in facilitating the development of capacities, organizational development and humanitarian assistance
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary actors
- Essential fluency in Spanish
- Knowledge of methodological tools for emergencies
- Digital field tools: KOBO/ODK, CommCare or others
- Systematization of experience
- Vehicle management and proven experience, counting with valid driver's license
