Senior Ceph Storage Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Ceph Storage Engineer to join our Global Storage Engineering team with a strong focus on Ceph. The ideal candidate will have strong dev/ops skills, love to solve complex and challenging problems, and want to participate in some of the most exciting open-source projects.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional Ceph experience, architecting and building Ceph clusters from the ground up
• 4+ years of Ceph storage deployment, configuration, performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, integration, upgrades, and maintenance.
• 3+ years of experience in Python scripting and automation.
• 4+ years of professional experience, efficiently managing large-scale Linux server environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their storage services.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with other distributed storage systems (e.g., GlusterFS, HDFS).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
