Job Description
The Afterschool/Behavior IEP Coach provides targeted coaching and support to students with identified communication, behavior, social-emotional, and IEP related needs in an enrichment setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Communication Disorders, Psychology, Social Work, Child Development, Behavior Intervention, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience working with children who have IEPs, speech delays, behavioral needs, or SEL challenges
- Knowledge of child development, communication development, SEL frameworks, and positive behavior interventions
- Experience implementing communication or behavior support strategies in structured or enrichment settings
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with staff, families, and program leadership
- Basic technology skills (documentation, communication, scheduling)
