Job Description
The Youth Worker A - Summer Program is a summer job opportunity at the Beacon Community Center in Beacon, New York. The job involves working with a group of 25-30 children in grades K-8, assisting with academic enhancement, reading enrichment, project-based learning, group games, social-emotional competencies, and field trips. The Youth Worker will be responsible for fostering a learning environment, demonstrating professionalism and leadership, and maintaining the safety and supervision of the program participants.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED; college preferred
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must have the ability to work collaboratively
- Must have a sense of humor and a passion for youth development
- CPR/First Aid Certification a plus
