Job Description
As an Electrical Communications Technician at the Granny Smith mine, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of underground and surface communication systems.
Requirements
- Current manual driver’s licence
- WA “A” Class Electrical Licence or Restricted Electrical Licence (Minimum Requirement)
- Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology (Desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in radio communications, fibre, telemetry, and LTE systems, preferably within an underground mining environment
- Proficiency in using network diagnostic tools and test equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
